It Happened!!!

We are now a family of bikers with no training wheels!!!
WAY TO GO JENNA!!!
Watch out now boys!!! lol
We've been working on this for a bit now, and Jenna finally was ready!!!
somewhat wobbly to start, but she figured it out pretty quick after that!!
i think the pretty purple bike sitting down at the LBS had a little to do with her finally getting it.
you see that's where the bike would've sat, until she lost the training wheels!! :)

Geocaching a Summer Day Away in Bemidji, Mn.

it's been awhile since I've been to Bemidji, Mn. double digit years to be exact.
we were looking for something to do this weekend fairly close to home, and Bemidji got the nod.
just another reason why geocaching is an awesome pastime for the family!! lol

our 1st stop was to say hi to Paul and Babe!!

there's supposedly a geocache on this dude, but it was very busy, and we didnt look for long.

next stop was the coolest cache of the day!!

i was all alone............................AT 1st...................

then.....................WOOOOOOOOOO.........

IT'S AN ACTUAL TRESURE CHEST!!

if i would've let them they would've jumped right down there!!lol

after a couple more finds, it was time for some grub, and then playtime at a very nice local park!!

after a good couple hours of play, it was time to head for home.

a couple more finds, and we were on our way.

anyway, a great way to spend a day!!

we will be back, for more than one day, and with our bikes!!!

By far the coolest thing of the day.............. Zack got to make his own T-shirt!!!

here's the finished T-shirt, it was still somewhat wet. it was only a high of 55 today!! where's summer?? lol

it was a grand day!!!

Friday Night Geocaching

quick trip to introduce the kids cousin to caching.
even though it rained on us, no one wanted to quit!!
5 for 5, and fun was had by all!!!
