i let the dog out, started coffee, and shoveled some more snow.
i made breakfast in shifts, since we let the kids sleep as long as they liked.
we planned to take the kids to see the Bentelyville tour of light at Bay Front Park in Duluth, late afternoon. yeah, i thought the roads would still be less than perfect.... i was right, but we still headed out. an hour trip took an extra 34-40 min. but we made it.
it was cold but still a good time, plus they had an awesome fireworks display at 6:00 p.m.
then we made a beeline to Old Chicago for some good grub, then made our way slowly home. ;)
