Fun Summer Times in Town???

Our kids have had VBS all this week, and it's been the hottest week of the summer here in northern Mn. low 90's 85%-90% humidity. YUCK
i do not know about anyone else, but i'm gonna love the cool fall temps very much!!
Cindi got the sprinkler out for the kids, and then she found the pool still in the box in the garage!!! score one for mom!! the kids were very happy!!
I'm still working 10's Monday-Fri., and it looks like it may last through to the new year. it could be worse, i could be laid-off................shh....bad word!!

St. Louis County Fair

We headed over later in the afternoon Sunday. That's the way to do the fair, no lines for the kids, and hitting up the food vendor's that are giving stuff away!!! YEAH!! LOL
I've been working 10's and 12's, while Cindi gets the house, and things ready for school.
Cindi, you are the BEST dear!!!!
Not much Geocaching is getting done these days, but maybe this weekend??!
gotta love the temp right now.................58!!! It was damn near 90 with high humidity the last 3 days. this really feels good, almost dare i say cold???!! ;)

We had two days without kids this past Friday and Saturday. wow it's really been awhile since Cindi and I've been without kids for the whole weekend.

as we were checking out of the hotel sat. morning Cindi looks at me and says "it feels like we are forgetting something", i say yeah the kids aren't here. LOL
we've been without kids before, but i can't tell ya when the last time we had a weekend to ourselves!!
Friday we left town around 5:30, and made it to Hinckely at 7:45, where we meet Cindi's cousins who were also taking in the concert.
i gotta say Mr. Thomas put on one hell of a show!! enough said. oh wait....... i do have one complaint............ they had shit for beer there!!! i drank two bud lights, and i thought i was gonna puke!! nothing like going from a nice flavorful Summit beer, then having to drink pretty much non tasteful bud products!! yuck!!!
Mountain Dew tasted better than those bud lights!!!

To Brian and Sara, hanging out with you two is getting better every time!!
I'm enjoying your company more and more every time we meet up. you guys are in the good guy group for sure!!! ;)
If you think I'm bullshitting, just ask Cindi how many people i put in the good guy group!!! LOL

A Weekend in Town

We didn't do much this weekend.
the kids enjoyed the parade, and all that goes along with it. i guess our life revoles around them, and that's OK!!! as long as Cindi and the kids are happy my life seems to go smoothly, for the most part!!??!!
anyway very few miles were put on the bikes this weekend, and a grand total of two geocaches were found.
i did get the lawn mowed this evening, and that makes Cindi very happy!! ;))

Our 4th of July weekend........................

Friday started off rocky, we were gonna leave after work, but then life happened, and we left Saturday morning. so it goes.
Saturday we spent the night in Two Harbors, and then we made our way to Duluth for the fireworks.
some bike riding, some geocaching, and some serious fun was had by all...........
